About Thu

I am a resilience coach that helps connect you to your courage, conviction and creativity to be the change you wish to see in the world.

My Biography

I graduated as a Computer Engineer from the University of Waterloo and spent 10+ years in semiconductor and telecom companies in R&D, Application Engineering and Technology Strategy. Then another 10+ years in leadership positions of startups like Simply Good and LogDNA and co-founder of multiple startups like Instadoodle and Flowzo. Being part of top tier startup accelerators introduced me to CEO coaches that connectd me to my values and helped me stay grounded while navigating uncertainty.

High stress and burnout lead me to periods of pause and reflection to uncover what would be authentic ways I could be of service. What I loved most in all my roles was connecting with others and supporting their growth. I also loved learning all I could about personal and professional development, especially evidence based approaches to behaviour change.

In 2019, I became a certified coach through Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and received my ACC (Associate Certified Coach) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in 2020 and a PCC (Professional Certified Coach) in 2022.

Ever since then, I have been supporting values-based leaders in Fortune 500 companies, professors in academia, and social change leaders in non-profits. I continue to learn and introduce various frameworks of behaviour change and tools that help clients increase their awareness, shift in perspectives and be fully resourced to show up as leaders with authenticity and purpose.

I work with clients 1:1, in teams and groups. I facilitate workshops on Positive Intelligence, Body Intelligence, Authentic Leadership, and Gender Equity & Reconciliation. Starting in 2022, I created a 12 week virtual circle called the Embodied Self Circle - Connecting to your higher self for peace.

My Philosophy

Rarely are there safe spaces where someone gets you, sees your whole self and holds you to your highest potential.

I hold that space so that amidst challenges, you are empowered and fully resourced to be and do your best.

My Style

I take a Whole Person approach, knowing that personal thriving is related to professional outcomes.

I am a good listener, compassionate, and creative. I take a collaborative and practical approach to working with my clients.
