Nusqool’s Web3 Accelerator for Kind Artists

 

Our Mission

There’s no shortage of doom and gloom of the challenging times we live in today and it’s easy to fall into cycles of hopelessness and despair. It is also true that acts of kindness happen on a daily basis but they are rarely made visible or celebrated.

What if we could co-create a world where kindness is valued, celebrated and made visible? We think we know how.

Artists have always been the carriers and alchemists of the weight of the world, carrying significant emotional labour for the world. They have an ability to access that source of light, hope and joy as well as the grief, trauma, sorrow inside of them. Their super power is that they can transform these embodied experiences and emotions into art, music, poetry and multiple forms of creative expression - in service of humanity.

We believe kind artists need to be supported to do this important work with modern tools like web3 proficiency and behavioural change tools like mental fitness, coaching, financial literacy.

We support cohorts of creators with the optimal conditions, community and networks so that they are set up to practically thrive as heart centred creators. Our artists get opportunities collaborate with each other and mission driven organizations who are driven by being kind to local communities and the planet.

 

A Modern Artist Residency

Inspired by the work we do with KindePay in 2021, our first cohort of artists joined virtually in January 2022. For the past 4 months we provided collaborative opportunities, networking opportunities and training and resources from industry experts on:

  • Web3

  • AI/Technology

  • Mental Fitness

We also provided residency days at Nusqool for local artists to explore and experiment in our studio space. The artists were given real acts of kindness as source material to collaborate and create a Genesis Collection to support the kick off of the KindOS ecosystem into the web3 community during Gitcoin’s GR13 grant round.

As we approach the tail end of our residency, we’re preparing to mint and list our Membership NFT collection as well as support each artists’ first web3 collections.
