Embodiment Circle: Feeling Safe enough to be our True Self: Exploring the Self & Setting Intentions with Clarity

In the first session of our 3 month series of the Embodiment Circle, you’re in for a treat with two facilitators!

Thu will guide you through an opening circle, shared agreements and share her adventure and inquiry into “Who am I?” - Who is my authentic self? Who is my true self? And what philosophers, eastern and western medicine, scientists, mysticism, coaches and therapists have to say about this topic. You’ll find out why she thinks its important to spend 3 months (or the rest of your lifetime) embodying and connecting with your true self. You’ll participate in an activity that will tangibly connect you with your true self.

🌱 Rebecca Sharp will give you some background on why this day - Halloween, Samhain and Diwali is a special time in the middle of the transition from the Autumn Equinox to the Winter Solstice. From Yang to Yin. From Doing to Being. From Outer Light to Inner Light. The preparation of letting go and preparing for hibernation, rest and finding the warmth and light within. You will have an opportunity to clarify your intention for the season into a tangible seed for you to plant.

Join us for this one session ($33) or the whole series of 12 weeks (sliding scale - $222-$444)!

Rebecca Sharp is an award-winning Scottish writer and interdisciplinary artist, who also has an active tarot and creative alchemy practice. Her latest poetry collection 'Long Field Loop' is currently listed for Scottish Poetry Book of the Year.

Join our third cohort of the Embodiment Circle that runs Thursdays from October 31, 2024 - Feb 6, 2025 where we will connect to our true self with practices that help us get into a social engagement state of being (called the Ventral Vagal state in Polyvagal Theory) - where we are connected to our 8Cs (Creativity, Curiosity, Compassion, Clarity, Calm, Courage, Confidence, Connection) and 5Ps (Patience, Playfulness, Perspective, Persistence and Presence).

Thu will be your guide to understand your nervous system through a polyvagal lens and you’ll learn different nervous system regulation practices as well as the practice of neurogenic tremoring known as TRE (Tension Release Exercises) and ways to regulate and return to a grounded and fully resourced state of being. There will also be guest teachers along the way to connect you with the Cs and Ps.
