What is your body telling you?

Reconnect with your inner wisdom by listening to your body signals

As we enter 2025, the polycrises and uncertainties of our world continue to take their toll on us and our communities.

For values-driven entrepreneurs, the impact of these realities can make us feel overwhelmed, and out of sync with our intuition.

Yet, your body holds wisdom on what you might need to move forward with clarity and confidence in this moment.

That is where this workshop comes in.

“What is Your Body Telling You?” is a 2-hour workshop facilitated by Shilbee Dhalla-Kim (Passion Coach) and Thu Nguyen (Somatic Leadership Coach). In this workshop, you will learn how to reconnect with your inner wisdom by listening to your body signals.

What you will learn:

Somatic Practice: Practice Medical Qi Gong techniques so that you can take an embodied approach (mind-body-spirit) to tune into your wisdom and power

Passion-Based Tool: Practice listening, mirroring, and identifying the "heat" of what currently matters to you

What you may experience:

Resetting your body’s nervous system

Clarifying what you need and want in order to inspire intentional action

(Re)connect with your sense of purpose and direction

Ultimately, you will leave the workshop restoring trust in yourself.

Shilbee Dhalla-Kim (she/her) is a passion coach who supports changemakers in clarifying their passions to better realize their current purpose. In addition to her coaching practice, she is a facilitator with Neolé Inc. and an instructor at McMaster University.

From cultivating passions to designing visioning sessions, facilitating strategic planning workshops, developing business plans, and managing social enterprise expansion, Shilbee has first-hand experience guiding purpose-driven organizations.

She uses anti-oppressive, intersectional approaches to help individuals and organizations understand their power, agency, and privileges within the context of structural, interpersonal, ideological, and internalized barriers.

She has previously served as the social enterprise manager at the Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto, the manager at the Centre for Social Innovation in Regent Park, and the workstream manager of Entrepreneurship Policy at what was formerly known as the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship.

Thu Nguyen is a somatic leadership coach who helps individuals reconnect with their true selves—rediscovering their voice, values, and purpose—so they can pursue their vision while remaining authentic with inner alignment of mind, body, heart, and spirit. Thu blends powerful somatic and nervous system regulation practices (TRE, Medical Qi Gong, Meditation) and leadership coaching (PCC, CPCC CRTC). She supports clients in overcoming burnout, stress, and trauma while unlocking their capacity to embody the change they wish to see in the world.

As a BetterUp Fellow Coach, Thu has supported hundreds of founders, leaders, and executives across industries (Tech, Finance, Aerospace, Energy, Education, Social Change) in creating sustainable success by addressing both personal and professional challenges.

Thu’s own transformative journey has been shaped by both her professional challenges and personal struggles. With 20 years of experience in the tech industry and 3 tech startups of her own, she is familiar with the high pressures of working in VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environments as well as the deep grief, emotional and relational fallout of startup failures. After facing her own health crises—cancer, chronic illness, and burnouts—Thu made a shift from the tech world into coaching and facilitating where she now helps others transform adversity into opportunity, and loss into purpose.

As the founder of Nusqool, Thu has created a space for seekers and changemakers to feel safe enough to explore their authentic selves, transform their lives, and make a meaningful impact in the world.
