Group Intro to Neurogenic Tremoring

TRE® is a somatic practice that helps release tension from our body and helps regulate our nervous system, bringing us out of states of activation and dissociation. As a regular practice, we become less reactive and increase our capacity to be present and feel safe in our body.

​As a technique it is a set of 6 exercises that release tension by evoking a self-controlled muscular shaking process in the body called neurogenic muscle tremors. This shaking originates deep in the core of the body in the psoas muscles and the tremors reverberate along the spine releasing tension from the sacrum to the cranium.

​In this online workshop, Thu Nguyen, a certified TRE® Provider and Somatic Coach will gently introduce both the theory and practice of neurogenic tremoring. You will learn more about TRE, stress, trauma, the psoas muscles and polyvagal theory. Then we will do the exercises and experience the tremoring mechanism and practice self regulation. You will have a chance to ask any questions to begin your process of creating a regular practice
